Photon
Light is both a wave and an energetic pond. The energy of a photon E = hѵ = (h c)/λ, where h is the plank constant, c is the speed of light, ѵ is the frequency of the photon, and λ is the wavelength of the photon. Thus, with decreasing wavelength (from IR to VIS to UV), the energy (per photon) increases.
