Adhesion Test
The adhesion of a coating is measured by attaching either a sheet of self-adhesive plastic (“Scotch tape”) or a metal pin with an organic cement to it. The ability of multi-layer systems to remain on the substrate is the measure of adhesion. This test is known as the pull test.
