Substrates

At Bte Born, we offer a wide range of coated substrates. We mainly coat technical and optical glass, mostly thin glass, as well as optical components, but also other base materials such as plastics and metals.

Benefit from our large stock of standard glass. We also coat substrates provided by you (job coating).

Thanks to a wide range of partners with whom we have worked for many years, we can also procure special glasses and your desired substrate for your components.

If required, we can also provide you with substrates without coating, including machined substrates on request. We are happy to cut glass for you using precise laser cutting, even for complex geometries and free-form shapes (more on processing options). We also offer coated and uncoated glass with edge processing as well as polished or ground.

We coat both flat glass and lenses, reflectors and profiles. We can also coat many special shapes or special geometries on request. From components for head-up displays, coated reflectors and profile coatings to optical filters for sensors, we have already provided numerous products with our optical coatings.
