Bte Bedampfungstechnik and Born Coating are embracing the future with a revised logo, updated corporate design, and a new website under the motto "Born to coat"
Bte Bedampfungstechnik GmbH and Born Coating GmbH have unveiled a new look: the corporate identity of this over 30-year-old company has been completely overhauled. The new brand identity includes a modified logo with updated colours, the new motto "Born to coat", and an updated website.
The centrepiece of the new corporate identity is the distinctive figurative mark, inspired by the company's technology. The dots arranged in a quarter circle resemble a calotte segment, the core of the coating systems. This is where the substrates to be coated are placed, and thin interference layers are deposited using evaporation technology. This can be seen impressively in the animation on the homepage of the new website.
New content structure of the website
The website has been redesigned not only in appearance but also in its entire content structure. "Our main focus was on customer needs," explains Managing Director Ansgar Link. For example, the "Industries" section was added to help customers and interested parties navigate more efficiently beyond the product pages. "With our optical coating technologies, we operate in a very complex and niche market," says Link. "Our new website is better suited to our prospective customers, regardless of their level of knowledge." The "News" section will be continuously expanded with short updates, application reports, technical articles, and white papers.
"Working in partnership with our customers, often over many years, is our strength," says Managing Director Damian Janczyk. "We don't offer 'catalogue goods'; instead, we provide customised coating solutions tailored to our customers' specific applications. This customer-orientation, combined with our decades of experience, is our core competence and a central element in the redesign of the website."
