Indium-tin-oxid (ITO) is transparent in the visible sphere and at the same time electroconductive. It is suitable for the avoidance of static charging; it serves as heating resistor, is valuable for the contacting of electrical panels and reflects infrared radiation. The resistance per quadratical surface (Ohm/q) characterises the layer; the arising layer size determines the optical characteristics. As high-breaking material ITO is highly reflective. Additional adaption layers can reduce the reflection.
